Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website located at www.littleseedsfamily.com (the "Site"), the Village community app at village.littleseedsfamily.com ("Village"), or registering for any class, workshop, certification course, or event offered by Little Seeds Family ("Little Seeds," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 3568 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing the Site, creating a Village account, or registering for a class or event, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.


1. Our Services
Little Seeds offers pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood programming, including but not limited to cohort-based Mommy & Me classes, prenatal education, wellness workshops, and community events. We also operate Village, a community app for parents and caregivers connected to Little Seeds.

Some classes or workshops (such as CPR certification) may be taught by independent contractors or guest instructors. Those instructors are not employees of Little Seeds, and any certification or credential they issue is their own, not a Little Seeds credential.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or change the format, pricing, instructors, or scheduling of any class, workshop, or Service at any time.


2. Registration, Payment, and Cancellation
Registration and Payment
Class and event registration is handled through our booking platform, Squarespace Scheduling. By registering, you agree to provide accurate and current information and to pay all applicable fees at the time of booking.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Within 24 hours of booking: full refund available.
More than 48 hours before the scheduled class or event: no cash refund, but a credit will be issued toward rescheduling or a future class.
Within 48 hours of the scheduled class or event: no refund or credit.

Little Seeds reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrollment, instructor availability, or unforeseen circumstances, in which case affected participants will be offered a credit or rescheduling option.


3. Health, Safety, and Liability
Our classes may involve physical activity, movement, and hands-on instruction. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

Participants are required to sign a separate liability waiver and health disclosure form at the time of enrollment, prior to participating in any in-person class. That waiver governs assumption of risk and release of liability and is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
You are responsible for consulting your own healthcare provider regarding your (or your child's) fitness to participate in any class or activity.
For classes or workshops taught by independent contractors or guest instructors, Little Seeds is not responsible for the content, instruction methods, or any credential or certification issued by that instructor.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Seeds, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our classes, workshops, or events, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.


4. Village Community App
You must be 18 years of age or older to create a Village account. Village accounts are intended for parents/caregivers only.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to use Village respectfully: no harassment, hate speech, spam, solicitation, or sharing of content that is harmful, false, or violates another user's privacy.
We reserve the right to moderate, remove content, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community guidelines, at our discretion.
Any content you post in Village (such as messages, profile information, or resources) remains yours, but you grant Little Seeds a license to display and use it within the app for the purpose of operating the community.


5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site and within Village — including but not limited to the Little Seeds name, logo, curriculum materials, class content, and written materials — is the property of Little Seeds Family and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission.


6. Third-Party Services
Our Services rely on third-party providers, including Squarespace Scheduling (registration and payments) and Supabase (Village backend infrastructure). Your use of these integrated services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.


7. Privacy
Your use of our Services is also governed by our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.


8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Village or any Little Seeds Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, without refund of any unused credit where termination results from a Terms violation.


9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Little Seeds makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site, Village, or any class or program content.


10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Seeds Family shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services, participation in our classes, or use of Village.


11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.


12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
