Week-by-Week Outline
Session 1 – Welcome & Connection
Theme: Building trust and belonging
 Topics:
- Introductions: Who you are + your pregnancy journey so far 
- “What does a village mean to you?” 
- Ground rules + group intentions 
Session 2 – Body Changes & Self-Care
Theme: Honoring your body and mind
 Topics:
- Physical & emotional changes in 2nd–3rd trimester 
- Nutrition, sleep, movement, and mental wellness 
Session 3 – Relationships & Boundaries
Theme: Communicating needs during pregnancy
 Topics:
- Navigating changing roles with partners, family, friends 
- Setting boundaries 
Session 4 – Planning for Birth
Theme: Confidence, options, and support
 Topics:
- Birth planning: choices, preferences, fears 
 Understanding the role of a birth support team
Session 5 – Postpartum Reality Check
Theme: What no one tells you
 Topics:
- Recovery expectations (physical/emotional) 
- Baby blues vs. postpartum depression 
- Sleep, identity shifts, and support systems 
Session 6 – Building Your Village
Theme: Who's in your corner?
 Topics:
- Mapping your current support network 
- Finding and asking for help (childcare, meals, emotional support) 
Session 7 – Infant Care & Attachment
Theme: You already know more than you think
 Topics:
- Basics of newborn care: feeding, sleep, soothing 
- Bonding and tuning into baby cues 
Session 8 – The Transition to Motherhood
Theme: Becoming, not just birthing
Topics:
- Identity shifts, grief, joy, and growth 
How to hold space for yourself as a mom
