Yoga Village
Yoga Village Kids is dedicated to sharing the wealth of knowledge and fun that the Yoga practice can hold for both adults and kiddos of all ages. Founded by local mom Valorie Moore, Yoga Village Kids has Yoga programs in 9 out of the 11 public elementary schools in Lamorinda, as well as preschools and private schools in the area. Stemming from a desire to build community and create a more peaceful future, Valorie began teaching Yoga to children and adults back in 2012 and has since been building a toolbox filled with creative ways to engage, relax, and support all ages. At Yoga Village Kids, we strive to share mindful Yoga movement and tools to cope with big emotions, stressful situations, and academic pressures. We believe that starting to build these skills from a young age can make an incredible difference in how mindful our up and coming generations move through the world, relate to each other, and care for themselves, with our number one goal of having fun while learning!
