The Feelings factory
(Ages 5-7 years old)
With Valorie Moore & Karina Madrigal of Yoga Village
What To Expect
This four-week movement class invites kids ages 5 to 7 to explore big feelings through their bodies, not through sitting still or finding the right words. Each week centers on a different emotion, Joy, Anger, Sadness, and Worry, and turns it into something they can jump, shake, push, breathe, balance, and laugh their way through.
Classes begin with a short dance party and stretch to get the wiggles out, then children rotate through playful movement stations designed to help them recognize how emotions feel in their feet, legs, belly, arms, and head. Sometimes they move solo, sometimes with a buddy, sometimes with music, sometimes with stillness. There is no right or wrong way to move, just curiosity and participation.
Join Emme, a high school senior, in not only encouraging your children to express their emotions through movement, but also growing as a mentor herself. This is her first class at Little Seeds, designed and created as a part of a school internship program. The focus is on body awareness, emotional regulation, and self expression, all wrapped in games, imagination, and lots of silliness. Kids practice releasing energy, calming themselves, connecting with others, and noticing how their bodies change when they move.
This class is energetic, grounding, and gentle all at once. A place where feelings are allowed, bodies are busy, and joy sneaks in even on the heavy days.

Emme Gerhard
Emme Gerhard is a senior at Miramonte High School, and interning at Little Seeds as a part of her W.I.S.E program. Since her freshman year, Emme has coached children’s gymnastics and cheer, bringing both the energy of a current athlete and the experience of a former competitive gymnast to her classes.
Emme is passionate about creating positive, engaging spaces where kids can move and explore while having fun. She aims to model teamwork, perseverance, and joy in movement. Through her internship at Little Seeds, Emme continues to grow as an educator and mentor, excited to support young movers as they discover their strength and confidence, and to teach children the tools to develop a healthy and sustainable relationship with physical activity.
